It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the IB Diploma programme at
MKS for the 2024-2025 academic year. I am honored to be part of a school
community that is committed to providing an outstanding IB diploma
education experience to all our students. I believe that every student has
unique talents, interests, and passions, and it is our responsibility to
create an enabling environment that nurtures and develops these
qualities.

We are committed to creating an inclusive, engaging, and challenging
learning experience that fosters curiosity, creativity, leadership and
innovation. The IBDP curriculums provide a strong foundation of curiosity
and confidence, while also instilling a sense of care and respect for the
world around us, as well as developing the personal discipline leading to
lifelong learning.

As students progress through our Diploma program, they are presented
with a plethora of pathways and opportunities to explore career choices
by our dedicated university counselor. The DP program is designed to
equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to further develop
creativity and succeed in the 21st century. As educators at MKS, we are on
a mission to provide a well-rounded education that prepares our students
not only for academic excellence, but for personal fulfillment and success
in their chosen careers.

We believe that leadership skills are essential to every student’s success,
and therefore through student agency, we empower all our students to
develop the skills they need to lead themselves and others to success, no
matter where their passions and ambitions may take them.

Congratulations to the top scoring student, Sara Bucheeri as well as the
class of 2024 whose average diploma point score was above the world
average. I’d also like to express fathomless gratitude to our wonderful IB

teachers and senior leadership team for making this achievement
possible.
