Terms & Conditions:
March: Competition Announced
April 15: Submissions DUE
April 18: PUBLIC Voting Begins on this web page!
April 20: Public voting closes
April 22: Winners Announced
The theme of this competition is What does MKS mean to me? While we have identified a theme, it is completely up to you what the style and format of your MKS doodle is. Use your imagination and come up with a design that you feel really reflects the culture and community of Modern Knowledge Schools!
While it is fine to be inspired by other artists, it is not okay to take their ideas and represent them as your own. Further, creating original, unique, and interesting artwork is fun! Originality is one of our criteria, and your submission must be the product of your own talent, imagination, and skill. It is OK to use photos or text you find online, but your final product must be unique.
Your MKS Doodle can be as simple as drawing with crayons or markers on paper or as complex as a high-tech virtual design. Regardless of the medium, we encourage you to devote some time and talent to a Doodle that is artistically creative! You can use any medium and format to make your doodle- wow us with your art!
All of the MKS Doodle Competition entries will be celebrated on this web page! A division winner will be chosen from each school (KG, ES, MS, HS) and up to 3 overall winners will be selected based on the voting results.
The overall winners (K-12) may receive the following:
PUBLIC RECOGNITION: The top winning design will be featured on the MKS website, social media platforms, and in the upper right hand corner of all 3,000 Google accounts at MKS. Everyone will see your amazing work!

The MKS Doodle is modeled on the annual Doodle for Google competition hosted by Google. Doodle for Google is an annual art contest open to students in grades K-12. Students are invited to create their own Google doodle for the chance to have it featured on Google.com, as well as win some great scholarships and tech packages for their schools.
We took that idea and made it our own with the MKS Doodle as a chance for you to interact with the mission and meanings behind our school in a creative and artistic fashion. You can learn more about the Google Doodle by checking out the video here.
