Dear Modern Knowledge Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2026/2027 school year! We are so excited to welcome our students back to campus and begin another wonderful year of learning, growth, and discovery at Modern Knowledge Elementary School.

As we begin this new school year, we are proud to continue the amazing work taking place across our Elementary School. Our focus remains on developing the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and personally—while creating a school environment where every student feels valued, supported, challenged, and inspired to learn.

We will continue to maintain high academic expectations while providing engaging and meaningful learning experiences that encourage students to think critically, collaborate, communicate, solve problems, and apply their learning in authentic ways. Our teachers are committed to knowing each student as an individual and providing the support and challenge they need to reach their full potential.

Beyond academics, we are excited to provide students with a wide range of opportunities to explore their interests, talents, and passions. Throughout the year, students will participate in hands-on learning, STEM activities, creative arts, music, sports, student leadership, service-learning, cultural celebrations, field trips, clubs, competitions, and special school events.

The well-being of our students will remain a key priority. Through Positive Behavior Support, Thankful Thursdays, character education, student leadership, and community-building activities, we will help students develop confidence, resilience, empathy, and a strong sense of belonging. We believe that when children feel safe, connected, and valued, they are better prepared to learn and thrive.

Our commitment to developing respectful, responsible, and global-minded citizens remains at the heart of everything we do. We will continue encouraging students to demonstrate kindness, integrity, respect, responsibility, and empathy while developing an appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.

We also value our partnership with families and look forward to welcoming you to school events, celebrations, learning activities, parent education opportunities, and other community experiences throughout the year. Your involvement and feedback help us continue to grow and provide the best possible educational experience for our students.

Most importantly, we want our students to enjoy coming to school, discover their passions, build confidence, and create wonderful memories with their teachers and friends.
