The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is a recognized leader in the field of international education, encouraging students to be active learners, well-rounded individuals and engaged world citizens. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is a challenging two-year curriculum, primarily aimed at students aged 16 to 19. It leads to a qualification that is widely recognized by the world’s leading universities.
Here at Modern Knowledge Schools (MKS) we have expanded our IB Diploma program every year since we began offering it. With the addition of new courses, improved facilities such as our HS campus and streamlined registration we have sought to make the IB Diploma program a worthwhile choice for students and their parents.
The IB Diploma Program at MKS is diverse. Students can study languages in Arabic, English or French. We offer three social science courses, four experimental sciences and all three levels of mathematics and one Art subject. Beginning of September 2015 we will be expanding our program
Chosen IB students will enter a program that develops them into lifelong learners. Students will gain skills in research, writing, critical thinking and presentation that they will carry with them into university and beyond.
Our students this year are among the best we have seen so far and we expect our best results to date from this group. In addition to this we have also seen some very good university acceptances including Brown University, University of Michigan, Northwestern University, Oberlin College, University of Bath and the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. We also had one student from our IB group reach the final stage of HH The Crown Prince's Scholarship Program.
After twelve years, the IB Program at Modern Knowledge Schools it is just beginning with many more successes to come. I look forward to the future and the many challenges it will bring for our entire community.
